White House Announces Measures Boosting Small Businesses

White House announces measures to boost small businesses
The White House has announced proposals designed to help small businesses and encourage entrepreneurship. The plan includes reductions in regulations that hit small businesses and a permanent elimination of capital gains taxes on some small-business investments. It also includes formation of a group dubbed "Startup America" to encourage the private sector to provide investments and mentoring to tech entrepreneurs. AOL co-founder Steve Case will head the group, which already has funding from Intel, IBM and the Kauffman Foundation.
