Secrets to dealing with delinquent customers

Research found many businesses have a tough time collecting payments from some of their customers, but there are a few ways to increase your chances of getting paid. Run a credit check of potential customers before doing business with them or require they pay you some money up front. Sign a contract with your customers to make sure you are on the same page and maintain regular contact with those who are overdue. If all else fails, use a debt-collection agency to get them to pay.
