Trust in business drops in the U.S. but rises worldwide

Even as trust in business and government rose globally, Americans reported less trust in those institutions, according to the annual Edelman Trust Barometer. Just 46% of Americans said they trust business, down from 54% in 2009. Meanwhile, global confidence rose to 56% from 54%.
