It's more than bad form to forget your 1099s and W-2s
You wear many hats as a small-business owner, but "accountant" is one you can't afford to forget about, writes Steve Strauss. Penalties for improper 1099 and W-2 forms are set to double this year, and failing to file altogether could cost you up to $500,000.
