Hackers set their sights on small businesses

Small businesses are increasingly targets for hackers because their networks often don't have sophisticated security, experts say. In the last month, a scam referred to as a mass-injection attack has hit 20,000 to 30,000 sites, including many small businesses. "It will easily cost us a couple thousand dollars to remedy, and I can't tell you what the costs are in terms of lost business opportunity," said Matt Passen, a lawyer at the two-person Passen Law Group, which was recently hit with an attack.
