Few options to fight back against credit card "chargebacks"

Statistics show that consumers dispute less than 0.01% of credit card purchases, but that tiny percentage can be a big problem for small businesses, which often must spend hours verifying the validity of a charge. Card issuers also fine merchants for so-called "chargebacks," and even if a merchant is eventually vindicated, the dispute can put a serious crimp in monthly cash flow.
