Consumers increasingly turn to BBB before they buy, survey finds

Some consumers are taking a preventative approach by doing more research before making purchasing decisions, a survey in Florida found. Requests for reports on specific businesses rose by 86% from 2009, while complaints dropped slightly, according to the annual report for BBB of Northwest Florida.
